My name is Cody Moulton. I am an artist who loves design, music and playing the drums – I even have a companion site to this called Moulton Hot Drums where I feature drum cover videos and offer drum lessons. I have been involved in multiple bands as the drummer and active lyricist. I’ve been immersing myself in web design and digital art projects since 2008, including work with video and audio production, all of which I am passionate about.
I really love a well designed web page constructed to make my experience easy, informative, and beneficial. I like to consider myself a rather geeky fellow with an eye for good design. I truly think that content should be communicated in a way that adds more meaning to the message and is delivered for the consumer. I am confident in my understanding of communicating ideas effectively through visuals, text, layout, content, and interaction. I believe my skills and abilities help improve the branding and online presence of businesses. Take a look around at some of my work experience and proficiencies.

The endgame of this study is to have learned just how effective the Google Maps gesture controls are so we can better apply effective interactions for applications we design and develop later on. By looking closely at this very successful app, we will gain insights into what worked, what didn’t, and why these things did or did not work. With this knowledge, we will be better prepared to design applications…

It’s important that, as a designer, you have a full fledged plan for your end product. Just as you should sketch out (yes, on paper) your design layouts before starting in on digitally developing those ideas, you need to assemble a guidebook that will help you maintain consistency and build a product to fit your expected client’s expectations. We had a very in depth design document for a personal website…

If you don’t know who you are designing for, you might as well not design at all! At least, that’s something I feel like I came away with when working on my final team project for my Interaction Design class. As future product designers, we were expected to come up with a plan for a mobile app that allowed people to seek for home cleaners much like the Uber app works. The ultimate goals of this project were twofold…
I love what I do. It is both artistic and logical in nature to create logos and websites. I’ve been especially blessed with work experiences and quality schooling to get where I am today with design. If you have any questions about what I can do for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me in an email.
